ATTENTION: 3.23 LOADOUTS

Recommended Weapons

I have done testing in the PTU required to find out what weapons are good within a specific archetype. i.e. best Laser Cannon, Best Laser Repeater, Best Ballistic Repeater, so and so on. And here are my preliminary findings based on AC gameplay.

Alpha 3.23 has made MAJOR changes to how weapons work. They are no longer generic. Each weapon has advantages and disadvantages. I need time in the verse before I can find out which weapons should go on which ships. So the recommended weapons in the loadouts below are no longer recommended. However the components still are. I have listed my favorites in each archetype below.

Best Ballistic Cannons

Tarantulas – Punching Down
Deadbolts – Punching Up

Best Laser Repeaters

NDB-30s – Punching Down
Attritions – Punching Up

Best Laser Cannons

Quarreler’s – Punching Down
M5 Series – Punching Up

Best Ballistic Repeaters

Sawbuck – for Punching Down

* Punching down is when your fighting faster smaller targets than yourself.
* Punching up is when your fighting larger slower targets than yourself.

Previous loadout links on discord lacked context and didn’t explain much for my thoughts when these loadouts inevitably changed. By using a website instead I can now add that context, show when and why the loadout changed and much more
