Loadout Purpose
* These upgrades to components are just my recommendations and are not the best for every situation or pilot. Pilot
Option One
Laser Cannons
Laser Cannons have higher sustained DPS this is great for when your target is larger and or slower than you. This will almost always be the case in PVE.
Great for PVE bounties, and for fighting larger ships.
Optimal Range ~800m
Use Trigger Discipline
Pros: HIGH Sustained DPS, High Alpha Damage
Cons: Slow Projectile Speed, Slow Firerate
Option Two
Laser Repeaters
Laser Repeaters have a high fire-rate and fast projectile speed. This is great for PVP or for dog-fighting smaller/faster ships.
Higher Projectile Speed can be beneficial in PVP.
Pros: High Projectile Speed, Long Range, Fast Firerate
Cons: Low Alpha Damage
Turret
Laser Repeaters
Laser Repeaters have a high fire-rate and fast projectile speed. Projectile Speed is key for adding more range while in a turret.
Higher Projectile Speed can be beneficial in a turret.
Pros: High Projectile Speed, Long Range, Fast Firerate
Cons: Low Alpha Damage
Components
Power Plant
There is no benefit to upgrading your power plant unless it can’t handle your upgrades.
The Stock Power Plant is sufficient.
Coolers
There is no benefit to upgrading your coolers unless they can’t handle your upgrades.
The Stock Coolers are sufficient.
Shields
Stealth Signature, Ballistic Resistance, and Component Health are the same across all Grade A shields.
I recommend upgrading to the FR-86 because of its distortion resistance.
QT Drive
I prefer the fastest QT drive that can make the farthest jump in Stanton. This will depend on the ships QT fuel capacity.
Because of its huge Quantum Fuel Capacity I went with the XL-1.
