[Music] Oh yeah. Yeah. Heat. Heat. Heat.

  2. 00:02:20

to the LA Science Museum in years either. We should go cuz it's really it's really cool to see the space shuttle. Well, do we want to go to the LA Do you want to go to the science museum or do you want to go to the the zoo? I'm up for either. The zoo. Either one's good. Yeah. Tyler says the zoo. I haven't been to the zoo in a while. I was going to say the zoo is really cool. Let's do the zoo. Okay, let's do the zoo. Hey everybody, welcome to Reverse the Verse. It is Friday, uh, June 10th, 2016. I'm your host, community manager Jared Huckabe. With me as always is our director of community engagement, online strategy, and spaceships, Mr. Ben Lesnik. Hello. Our subscription manager, Ms. Alexis Lesnik. Hello. Our editor, Mr. Justin Chambers. Hola, Kumosas. The man down in the box. Our other community manager out of the Austin studio, Mr. Tyler Witkin. And the man behind the camera and running the show, our director of photography, Mr. Thomas

  3. 00:03:08

Hennessy. Tom, do you have a camera this week? No. Nope. All right. All right. Off to a great start. All right. If you've never tuned in to Reverse Diverse before, Reverse the Verse is the Cloud Imperium Games Community Teams weekly informal live stream with the fans. We're going to talk a little bit about our weekend plans, which we just were before the start of the show. Uh talk a little bit about 2.4, 4, which is currently open to everybody on the PTU. Um, have a nice little ship announcement maybe in the middle of the show, then start taking questions and answers from our community on the RSI chat. So, Ben, director of community engagement, tell us what did we do this week? What happened in Star Citizen this week? Uh, it was the air conditioner just came on. So, so the air conditioner is on, so that works. As Thomas races across the

  4. 00:03:56

studio, just turn the air conditioner off. It sound like we were doing performing for like a dramatic radio. Good job. He almost he did a little leap, too. It was It was nice. I wish you could have seen it. And with that, Thomas Hennessy jumps into action as the Ranger. I can hear some volume. I think Tyler, do you have your sound on? Yeah. Can you hear me? No, I mean on the Do you have the volume on the show turned up on your end? Oh, no, I do not. Are we getting feedback through Tyler's end? We're getting feedback from somewhere. Are we getting feedback? But this project thrives on feedback. All right. So, Ben, are we in review what what happened this week? We killed We removed the tutorial. Yes. All right. So, right off the bat, we're going to jump right into that. The tutorial is dead. It's actually still there. It's just disabled from the menu. Um, will

  5. 00:04:47

the tutorial be coming back? We think probably not in the form it's in right now. uh because there's been just in this build there's been significant changes to the control and how the game does all sorts of things. So it will probably be a largely different tutorial when we get back to it. This is a thing we've been talking about internally for months. We have um we wanted to you know there was a big outcry in Reddit which I think is probably why I got brought up in meeting this and not just Reddit but I mean for um and it's it's true. We want to put the best face in the game forward and we're going to uh do a freefly for E3. Uh so it made sense to do it right now. So no tutorial in the menu. I know. I know. I mean we've had so many conversations about it. I even had a conversation in Chris's office just he and I you remember that and it's like

  6. 00:05:34

and and we wanted to make sure we we that fixing it first wasn't wasn't the best option. So so so yep. We found that looked at how much it would take to get it up to the current standard and all right. So the tutorial is dead. Thanks 2.4s. Uh what else happened this week? Uh we did a lot of talk about updating ATV. You'll be seeing that in the next couple weeks. What else happened this week as we fast approach ATV 100? Yes, we're three weeks away from we're three weeks away from from from episode 100. Uh we got some cool stuff planned. Uh um we did a lot of supporting for the 24 stuff um testing and getting the messaging ready. Uh Tyler did a whole whole lot of work on the big post that's going to go out when the when it releases.

  7. 00:06:22

Um lot of uh concept sale planning uh which we'll talk about a little bit later today what the next one is. Uh since our last reverse diverse we've released the monthly report. This is a monthly report uh which was as always it's really interesting. Um, we also finished up the Buccaneer sale. Uh, ended on Monday. And I know the one question a lot of people have is about the gun. Uh, the final distribution will be on Monday. So, make sure you have a buccaneer on your account Monday. Every Buccaneer will you'll get one for every Buccaneer in your account. Um, people who have the gun already, they're the ones who bought the Buccaneer as a standard package. It's going to be taken out of your package and put as a separate Voyager direct item just like you have another gun. Yes. So, um, this that's going to be all cleaned up Monday with a script from Turbulent. Yep. So, so if you if

  8. 00:07:11

you've if you're holding on to an upgrade, you know, be sure to apply that upgrade before Monday because we will not be awarding guns for upgrades just sitting in your inventory. Apply the upgrade. You have to have a Buccaneer on your account to get the gun. So, um, yeah. So, the monthly report went over well. Uh, the Buccaneer sale went great. We we we moved quite a few of them. Yes, it's one of our most popular ships now. Seem to respond very well with curious stuff. What I want to know is do they all love the bucker? Do they want the uh the gun? So, Tuesday will be a mass melting. But no, all all the stuff I saw was very positive about it. Uh I thought it was a really cool ship. So, yeah, Jim Martin, well, if you saw what also what happened this week, if you saw ATV, you saw me completely nerd

  9. 00:07:58

out. Uh Jim Martin, I embarrassed myself completely. Uh that's why we cut the interview into two parts so that you didn't so I didn't have I suffered my embarrassment over two weeks instead of you couldn't you couldn't cringe all at once. Yeah. Yeah. No. Uh cringe over the course. But no Jim Martin's a hero a hero for me. So he's like such a nice guy. Like he's like so sweet. He's the best of all. Yes. The the best. Yeah. No Jim Martin if you're watching and I don't know why you would be. Love you. No just was genuinely like he's so peaceful to talk to you too. clanking it. Look at my great guy schedule and see while he is looking. Alexis, why don't you tell us what you did this week? Uh, mostly merchandise. And I feel like I made a lot of spreadsheets this week. Yes, we we we we did I Yes, we went through and and kind of went

  10. 00:08:46

through all of the flare items that were stretch goals and just refined the list and, you know, we we kind of do that like once a year, I guess, and catch up on where we are. So, yep, just getting that sort of stuff in order. Um, we got some merchandise samples this week. This came here. You're closer. Hey, do you want to you want to walk that up to the camera? Close. Yes. Look at that. So, [Laughter] wow. Perfect. So, yeah, we're professionals. No. Yeah, don't touch the puppets. So, we got a couple shirt samples in this week. Uh, we got this patch sample. Um, so we're working on a couple things right now. Um, probably in the next month or so, we'll have some stuff

  11. 00:09:35

available for sale. And in ATV, we uh we revealed the subscriber flare. Yes, today is subscriber flare day. It is uh the Saber. It's a little one of the little Takuetsu models. Um that will be attributed to subscribers today. Uh it just like the cactus last month, it's not going to show up in your actual hanger until 24 is released. So, but it will be attributed to subscribers today and then again on Monday as usual. Um and I know a question everybody we're going to get immediately is what about the Saber model for uh people who bought the during the concept sale, right? Why don't you answer that question? Thanks. That was a great setup there. We uh there will be an additional saber model where we want to do a different

  12. 00:10:23

livery. Uh yeah, for uh so it's separate from the other like we did with the we've done it a few times. John so if you have the if you bought the saber during the concept sale and have a model in your pledge that's coming later, you'll get a a variant of the subscriber flare. I'm excited. I I like libraries. I'm I'm excited to see what they do with the saber to make it look different. So, because the two Shian Scouts, there's there's the racing one and it's it's it's very cool. I love seeing the different versions of it. We should do more gold ones, too, to go with that because we did that one gold set of them. We should do more gold ones. Well, we need to honestly, we need to go back to the referral program and kind of flesh and still flesh out some of those later rewards. Write that down. Someone take notes in this meeting. So,

  13. 00:11:11

somebody will make a post. Yeah, they said they're going to revisit the the the the the referral. Transcript is for There we go. IN take that note down. Thanks. We do use the transcript. It's like our notes for what are we saying again? Yes. Uh let's see. So, um what did you find? Anything else on your list on your phone? No. Is that all we did? I did not have that many meetings this week according to my phone. So, it's good. It just felt like a lot of meetings this week. Yeah, this this was a heavy paperwork. This heavy paper, spreadsheets, maintenance. Every you got to do what you mean. Y um a lot of my work is prepping for the run up to ATV 100. Uh we're we're kind of it's kind of a big blow up, but we're going to stretch it out over a couple episodes now. Um we thought we thought about doing one giant two and a half hour long episode and then decided that would kill us and you and you. So uh so we're going

  14. 00:12:02

to celebrate all the different uh segments that we do. Uh we have some cool stuff coming up. Uh don't want to talk about it just yet. I want to show you. But Justin, save us. Yes. What did you do this week? This week I had a lot of fun. Was there any editing involved? There was. I had a lot of fun with my other chambers brother this Monday. Can you beat my brother? Your chambers from another chamber. Chamber. Another chambers. That works better in a post-apocalyptic future where we all grow in chambers. Chambers from another mother. Is it? He's a chambers from another mother. Okay. Oh, technically he is mother and father. He got the hair. I like I got the skin colored that. Look, I don't want any rumors starting. Uh, also this week, 10 for developers with Brian Chambers. It was a lot of

  15. 00:12:51

fun. Um, we got to do some stuff we do differently than normal 10 fors and it was it was a wild ride. Yes. So, so you know, when Chris is out of the office, it it can be kind of a scramble to find people to fill in for him uh that we haven't used repeatedly that aren't busy working on projects and stuff like that. So, in a those who keep up with our forums, our subscriber forums, they'll know that, you know, we went to Brian Chambers very late and said, "Please save us, Brian Chambers." And he was so gracious to do it. And then over the weekend, we're collecting questions and Brian Chambers and I are talking back and forth on Skype. And eventually, he goes, "Can I do more than 10 questions?" And I'm like, "Well, yeah, but let's let's not make, you know, let's not make Chris look bad or anything. You know, you can do one or two more." He goes, "Well, I kind of want to do, I think, 13 questions." And I'm like, "All right, it's a special occasion, you know." Yeah. I mean, Brian, you we love you and everybody loves you. Brian, do 13. He

  16. 00:13:38

goes, but then I want to do a fire round. And I'm like, what? He goes, there's a lot of questions here that I I think I could just do with with one or with yes or no answers. Okay, how many of those do you do? And he goes, maybe three or four. And I'm like, you know, doing the math, I'm counting on fingers because I'm not very good. And I'm like, that's 17. Then there's like 10. Yeah. Fire. So, it's a total of 22. It's like 20. Yeah. I remember coming to you being like, um, do you know there's like 10 for the like questions and like, you know, so, but it was cool. It came it came together well. It was a lot of fun. It's not a thing you can do every week, but it's it's a thing. It's a nice thing we can do from time to time. So, thank you, Brian Chambers, if you're watching, and I don't know why you are. Thank you again so much. That's like the fourth thank you I've given to Brian Chambers in last week. You really like Brian Chambers. Do that. Uh, no, actually, it's how much I

  17. 00:14:26

have to pay him for filling in. Uh, yes. Brian Chambers has made a special request of me that I can that I have to fulfill when we're in Germany in August. So, you'll see what that is. Can you share that? Nope. Nope. Yeah, you you'll see it in August when I when I when I I have to pay Brian Chambers back for that. So, they don't even know. I haven't told them. I'm not telling anybody because it's too embarrassing. So, all right. Hey, Hennessy. What did you do this week? Oh, that's right. You don't have a camera. Oh, that was mean. Oh, sorry. Sad. Tyler. Tyler sitting in your little green box. I know. We need to fix this green screen for next week. We We had some technical issues this morning and what I even tweeted that we might start late, but we ended up starting on time, but one of the things we did in time was your green screen. So, Tyler, tell us about your week. What's going on in Austin? Um, it's been a very, very busy

  18. 00:15:16

week. Everybody's uh super slammed trying to get 2.4 out the door. Um, I missed you guys the last two RTVs, so I'm really happy to be back. Um, I went on a a trip over to West Texas and and went camping and then was at the X Games. Um, but yeah, uh, I guess this is kind of last week, but the, uh, I worked on the Buccaneer Q&A posts, part one and two, and this week has been a lot of screenshot and video gathering for various um, um, things for the website and whatnot, and working a lot on the 2.4 release post. Um, other than that, just the usual stuff. But really happy to be back. I've learned that taking um a Friday off, it it that work doesn't go away. So, it just makes it when you get back that much busier. So, it's it's been pretty hectic. There there's a reason that in two weeks I'm taking my

  19. 00:16:04

first PTO since I've started here. It's just because I didn't want to fall behind. It's hard. It's hard. I know. Memorial Day was rough, too. Like, we we all had off on Monday. Absolutely. Next time that that happens, I'm coming in regardless because that that Tuesday my it was it was crazy. So, I'm actually feeling anxiety about taking days off. All right, guys. Chill out on the uh Sorry. Hey, we're having Tyler and not your man. Time off is so terrible, guys. Yeah, you guys work so hard. It's the catchup stuff. It is the catchup. There's a lot of it. All right. So, but we're fortunate enough to be able to do a lot of awesome stuff. But during the time off, it's just important to ignore that feeling of dread about coming back and catching up. Just ignore that until you're back. I don't really dread it. It's more of there's just a

  20. 00:16:53

lot more to do. As I said, it's anxiety. It's not dread. We're enjoying We're fortunate enough to come back and have stuff to do that we love. Let's talk about stuff people want to hear. Yes. So, moving on. 2.4 is on the PTU. Ben two. We rolled out 2.4 to everybody. Rolled out to everybody last night. We wanted to get uh so we've been struggling, not struggling, but we we've been working on these network issues the past few weeks and they've they've been blockers. They've been printing the release and uh as of right now, we have a build that's looking really really good. It improves uh all these Code 7 issues, the disconnects, uh the stuff that was just dogging us. There are a couple more. I think we're down to like one smaller blocker right now, which is the uh ship spawning inside the landing pad. They are working on a fix for that right now. Um and we're hoping to

  21. 00:17:43

hopefully have that later tonight. Um you know, if not, we'll go to next week, but uh you know, fingers crossed we're going to be able to put something out. No pressure, Jason Eli. Yeah. Um I think they have the bug spasher himself working on that one. Uh and you know, they'll do a new build and if everything is good, we can hopefully go to 2.4 for very very soon. Um, but we wanted to put it out on PTU last night to get the gen, you know, a wider view of the current uh much much better build and results seem to be really positive. Um, so very cool. Would you say we're so no time frame? We can't give a time frame, but you know, cuz I mean we would love to do it later today. We I I if everything comes together, if this fix fixes the last blocker and we don't

  22. 00:18:30

introduce any new problems today, it's entirely possible. We'll get it back today like, okay, that the fix didn't work. It broke seven other things. It caused so no, it's uh it's a process. We'll keep walking through it, but fingers crossed. Yes. How happy will you be to be past the 2.4 post, Tyler? I'm excited about the next one. The 2.5 post. We've been working on the 2.4 post for for for a while now. So yeah, and it's going to be good. It has the uh the new controls. So you did a PDF that has what's changed and what it all is now. So you can Yep. Uh the 2.4 post will will include for I don't know if it's the first time, but for the first time in at least in a long time a PDF with every control, every control layout and then just a list of what all the buttons do and what the alternate keys are and

  23. 00:19:17

stuff like that. So yeah, massive patch comes with a massive sale. the uh Starf Farer, Starfare Gemini, and the Reliant Core will be back because those all are changing states. You'll be able to fly both Starf Farers in this version. And uh the Reliant Core will appear in your hanger. Um and there's a new gun also that'll be in Voyager Direct. Yes. And if you're curious how much those ships will cost, there's a thread in the official announcements on our forum that'll tell you the prices of the Gemini and the Core. Uh, for folks curious about the Starfare, will the Starfare price be changing at all? Uh, I believe it's the same as it was at the Hagar Ready sale, which was I think it's 300 for the Starfare, 340 for the Gemini, and 65 for the Core. All right. So, yeah, that's coming 2.4. We hope

  24. 00:20:06

soonish. Yeah, we would have loved to have come on here and be like, it's ready, but All right. Almost. All right. Next topic. Ben, the screen says Drakefly. Dragonfly. That is our other announcement today. We talked about on the show yesterday, but I realized we did not provide many specifics. We're going to be bringing out the Drake Dragonfly next week. Uh so this time next week, we will be dragonflying it up. And I was trying to finish your sentence ahead of time. I was like, he's going to say dragon flying it up. Nope. Um I'm going to ah a little bit more. People have been talking about the Dragonfly for a long time. Yes. This is our our Drake space motorcycle. It's a concept we came up with during uh I think the last round of polls. We were we were talking about smaller ships we could do. Three ships with four ships. I forget which one it was, but it narrowly

  25. 00:20:56

it narrowly lost to the Relant. Um so, you know, it's it's been it's just been such a cool idea that's been floating around, I think, in everybody's head since we said, you know, those two magic words, space motorcycle. Um because anybody in the world you you go up to them and you say space motorcycle and they have something very specific in their head. Oh my gosh. The emails that have gone on for the last several months. That's not a space motorcycle. This is a space motorcycle. But that now of course a space motorcycle would have a side thing so on and so on. Uh so we're we're really excited to show you what we've been up to. The guys in the UK have done a really cool job with it. Um it's it's going to be pretty useful ship in the game. Um, now we normally do the pricing a week out. We we like to announce the

  26. 00:21:44

pricing a week out. Um, and it's no exception. The Dragonfly is going to be $35. $35. And And that's because it's it's a little guy. Yeah. It's a motorcycle. Little guy. It's it's it's smaller than a than a Archimedes. Yeah. Smaller than than a Merlin. Uh, but the it's got some very interesting utility that we'll talk about. On Monday, we're filming a segment for next week's ATV uh with uh the designer who uh worked on the initial uh design for the Dragonfly, Matt Sherman. So, you want to tune in on Thursday for that to learn more about the Dragonfly then. Um and maybe even see a picture early. We will definitely be teasing something on the show next week. Uh wait to see I'll get all the art in from UK first. But it's looking really really cool. They've been doing these Harley-Davidson

  27. 00:22:31

inspired promo images. I'm really excited about this one. Since we don't have an image this week, do you wanna you want to go back to a ben plastic and maybe draw on a piece of paper? No, I I I want people to spend the next week imagining the dragonfly. What? Imagine your version of a space motor. You know what? Shar be disappointed when it's not it. No, let's do an impromptu contest here. Okay. I want your Ben drawing of what you think the dragonfly is. Post it to the forums. We Okay. All right. After this, we'll start an official thread so we know where to look. You you you guys draw it's you guys draw your version of the dragonfly. MS paint. MS paint. Yeah. Yeah. It's it's it's got to be it's got to be handdrawn. It's gota be horrendous. And uh we'll pick on we'll pick the one that's closest. We're You know what? We each each of the four of

  28. 00:23:19

us is going to or five of us. We each pick our favorite. Okay. We'll pick our favorite and we'll pick the one that's closest to the final one and the one that's furthest from the final one and all of those people will get a dragon. Okay. Well, furthest from the far farther when someone's going to draw like a cloud or something. But okay, it has to be within the spirit of the contest. The craziest uh well, we'll we'll announce the winners next week on RTV. Yeah. Okay. So, um yeah. So, there's a there's a behind the scenes look at how things happen here at Star. This was an idea we just had right now in front of you all and now it's a thing. Let's say the deadline is before ATV airs. So, so we can, you know, Yes. show you a little bit more of it. I'll I'll write up a thing with a deadline and whatnot. Uh for that matter, speaking of contests, we're going to go back to weekend review for a minute. We finally finally finally finally announce

  29. 00:24:07

the Schuben mining contest winners. Everybody uh signed off and yes, so so that post went up about 30 minutes before the show. Uh so if you haven't seen that, you can go to our robertspaceindustries.com and look at the uh the winning entries in our shoe mining contest. Uh we narrowed it down to 10. We said we were going to pick five winners. So, the the top five will win themselves in RSI Orion, which is the big robust mining platform. And then our five runners up, those guys that made it to the end, you know, made it all the way through 35,000 entries, made it all the way to the end, uh, they'll be receiving a miss prospector for their troubles. Now, I think you mean bespoke, not robust. They're both very robust ships. So, yeah. So, that happened this week. I

  30. 00:24:55

think we finally got around to doing it and now it's no longer the spectre hanging over our heads. So, yay. Congrats to everybody involved. Uh, there there were a lot of good entries. Far more than the 10 we could pick. There were a lot of entries. There were a lot of good entries. There were a lot of L asteroids. Uh, one one person submitted the the lyrics to a song and just changed the Oh. Oh. Tell me what you want. What you really really want. Yes. Here's one. There were people who took Spice Girls lyrics. Spice Girls. Did you just say the Spice Girls were Britney Spears? I thought I don't have the culture. There there were people that put a lot of heart and soul into it. Um, and an interesting theme I noticed a lot of them revolved around the character's

  31. 00:25:44

father. I think because of the uh the perad family mechanic, it's people are thinking about their families in space, their space families. Yeah. There was a lot of my dad taught me this. My dad taught me that and my dad did this and stuff. It was It almost made me call my dad. It didn't though. But you know what? Moms can be space miners, too. Yes, there were there were a handful of of my moms in there. Uh, in fact, yes, there were a handful of my moms. It's hard. 35,000 blurred together. Well, that was a segue for um female mock female character model, which we've been doing a lot of work here in LA recently. And if you check Sy's Facebook, there's some u you know, the spy photos of it. Yes. And there'll be a segment uh diving deeper into that in in ATB in the coming weeks, maybe even for the hundth episode, maybe. All right. So, now that we've

  32. 00:26:32

completely gone off the rails, questions and answers. Thomas is already ahead of us there. Now, questions, answers is the part of the show where we take questions from our live uh internet audience, uh you'll want to go to robertspaceindustries.com community. And in the general tab, that's where we're taking questions. We are not taking questions from the Twitch chat uh because it's just easier to take them all in one place here. So, type your questions there and please preface your question with the word question in capital letters surrounded by brackets. Thank you for the brackets demonstration, Justin. That'll help me pick it out from the detritus. And please remember that while your chat may be autoscrolling, mine is not. So, no need to enter your questions more than once, uh if it's something that I feel that we can answer, we can address, I will I will of course read it out loud. Uh if I do not, don't feel bad. It's just not something that we're prepared to discuss at this

  33. 00:27:20

point. So, question. What's the deal with this belt? I know. I was going to say that. I didn't know if it was like you wanted to keep it. Were you saving that for looking ahead? No, I was I was just going to leave it not mentioned. Okay. Um, corrupt you for fun has a That's an interesting question. I like that a lot. Uh, can we get a 10 for the turbulent devs? That's a good idea. That is a good idea. We never thought about that, but we would have Benois and Benjamin F and uh uh let me get back to you on that. Let me get back to you on that corrupt for you fun, but we like your idea. Corrupt you for fun if they're willing to do it. Basically, we don't force anybody to ever be on a video. So, so, so I will float the idea by and we'll see what happens. Um, Leco has a question. Uh, going back to the Battlefield upgrade

  34. 00:28:10

kits, which is something we rolled out for the Vanguard sale. We haven't utilized them since the Vanguard sale that I can remember. Uh, he as he asks, "Are there plans to sell an Edris P and M battlefield upgrade kit at some point before release?" No, they're not. Okay. I'm just not used to getting that direct answer. It's stunning even me, but you No, this was something we promised very, very early in the campaign because there are two different editors. There's the the military patrol one and there's the more civilianized one. Uh but it wasn't we we don't want to, you know, just sell you here's a better address. We want to make it something you do in the game. Yeah. And interest shouldn't be around every corner. We we we want that moment when you see an Idris to because it get bigger because it keeps getting

  35. 00:28:57

bigger. Uh uh the Jabberwock has a has a pertinent question. Do you promise to judge the dragonfly contest in a shorter time than the Schuman minor contest? I promise nothing. Pictures are easier to judge than Yes. Yes. It'll be It's a lot easier to go through the pictures. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. No, that was a lot of reading. And most of what I do all day is reading. So, and I'm not good at reading. But if you read five books this summer, I'm going to get you a small personal pan pizza. What? That's so ridiculous it's almost worth doing. All right. Uh ETH9, hey, a frequent question here on RTV. Thanks for showing up every week, Ethn. Uh will any other ships go on sale after 2.4 is pushed to the live server? Uh the 2.4

  36. 00:29:47

sale is just the two Starfares and the Rear Line. Yes. That's the 2.4 sale. Yep. And the new gun. And the new gun, which I I I'm sorry, I cannot keep the names of our guns. Yes. Uh uh it's the shotgun. I can't I can't remember the name either. Uh now it's possible the 2.4 sale will will be going on at the same time as our uh dragonfly sale. So in that case, the dragonfly will also be on sale, but those are two bespoke events. I'll let you know my secret for remembering the guns early on. I stuck a Wink Commander reference in each one. No, that's how I kept them in my head. No. Yeah, that's what all those CFs and so on are. I don't believe that you clever. Uh, Jiru asks, "Are there going to be new things to buy in-game in 2.5?"

  37. 00:30:38

I can't promise. Yeah, we we are not code lock on 25 yet. Um, almost certainly, but I can't say what they are, whether or not they're going to break at some point in the next couple weeks. Did you just say 25 would be out in a couple of weeks? No, I said we're probably going to break whatever's in it in the next couple of weeks. I'm just paraphrasing for the internet. I like how Jerry tried to cover his mouth. Uh there's been a lot of talk lately about ejection seats, Ben. John McFly and actually a couple people here uh would like to know more about what what our thoughts about ejection seats. Are they necessary? Are they just nice to have? Why do some ships have them, some ships don't? Some ships have them and some ships don't. I mean, I don't want to address

  38. 00:31:26

the specific question, which is why do Drake ships not have them? Because that's a design decision. I want them to figure out their system and okay, be the ones who make that call. Uh, but no, they're they're not 100% essential. There's different systems for different ships and we want it to be a trade-off. You know, survivability ups the cost of a ship. you know, seats survivability up the cost of a ship versus So, you know, it should be a spectrum, not every ship has everything. Yeah. Not all ships are meant to be all things. Yeah. Okay. But as as for specific ships with ejection and not leaving all that to design and it's it's there. Bailey Wick. Uh um uh RSL Taken wants to know if if anybody's currently working on the

  39. 00:32:13

Vandal Blade. Uh, it's the light fighter for Squadron. I actually saw it on Patrick Solerno's screen. He was doing a tech setup for it. Yeah, we we don't track the uh we we meaning community don't track the Vandal ship so much because they're all going into a squadron and we don't get a chance to show them off. But I if there's not someone doing it right now, there was yesterday. So that sort of thing. Okay. Uh Fast Cart has a qu. Hi Fast Cart. Bascard asked a question about the the new female model that Sy's been sharing on your Facebook. Um he says, "Who is the face of the female model?" Now, I know we're not going to it. I'm asking this question because I I know the face is one of the things that's not final on

  40. 00:33:00

that model. So, uh basically, I asked the question because the face that's in those pictures is placeholder. They're they're still working on the faces they mentioned in the shotgun notes. And I have no idea whose face it is. Yeah, we have no we have no idea whose face it is, but that's not the final face. That won't be the face that's going in game. So, uh that'll be one of the scans we did. Yeah. Yeah, that's probably modified significantly. Yeah. So, uh Deadlight wants to know if there's any update on the development of the Star Liner. Uh specifically, any movement on the variants that were announced when during the initial concept sale? No, that'll have to come later. Um, the Starlighter is SK scheduled out, so it's it's on our production plan. We we don't have a

  41. 00:33:47

person on it right now, but uh as for doing variants, it'll be let's wait to until we get the first ship done before we sell some others. Yeah, with the exception of a of of a handful of exceptions, we are trying to do the the base ships before we do the variable. So, uh Kane has a question. Uh, will the Dragonfly concept come with LTI? Yes. Yes. Sometimes it's a gimme. Uh, Han Han Han Tomelli says, "What's the plan once 2.4 goes live? I'm gonna take a long nap. Uh, I know we're we're all going to play Star Citizen for a bit, I think, and just enjoy ourselves. Uh it'll be a well not even for us specifically but the whole team I think just they'll be

  42. 00:34:37

very very happy to have it out. Yes. Well it it's the it's the basis of a lot of systems that are coming later. So so once that's in the work can continue on all kinds of stuff. Fleshing out the stores, fleshing out the character clothing and all that good stuff. So uh item for system is big for the upcoming component component revamp or the continuing component revamp. Yeah, it's like you it's like building a deck and now we can put any grill we want on it. All right, analogies. Uh Ober asks, "Is it just me or is there no ask a dev for the website anymore?" There is an Ask a Dev for the website. It's up there now. And uh I was just talking to UK programmer Ben Perry uh this morning who took some time out of his day yesterday to answer quite a few questions in the Ask a Dev section. So Ben Perry, if you're watching, I

  43. 00:35:24

don't know why you would. Uh, thank you a lot for taking the time out of your day to post in the ask a dev. Uh, pre-estruction asks a question about Overwatch. Um, hey the mic. What was the question? I can take that one. No. Uh, the mic has a question for Alexis. Uh, do we know when new mouse pads are coming? Um, is there a plan? Well, we just shipped the last one that we did. So, you know, maybe end of summer, fall. We're working on some shirts right now, so we'll get those sorted out and then move into some new stuff in the fall. Um, uh, the Mathar, the Mathar asks, "When will we see more news about the caterpillar? Can't wait to be seeing

  44. 00:36:12

what's done to it." Real darn soon. Yep. Um, in fact, I think we'll be sharing some of the caterpillar stuff with the dragonfly. Um, so expect to hear a little bit next week. And there might even be a neat video as part of our ATV 100 celebration. So I'm really happy I got I mean the teams all over the world are amazing. But I getting to watch them work on the on the Caterpillar daily here. It's it's really a treat. Yeah. It's nice when it's somebody here. Yeah. just because we get to see it. We get to walk past their desk like um what was the deal with the fast forward? Didn't it look too different than what we already have? And what's the status of the pushpull system? Um yep. The fast forward basically we I

  45. 00:36:59

talked a little bit about this in in a in a very long well text forum post maybe a week or two ago. Uh basically it's not going to be gravy every week. It's it's you know it's we you can't serve steak for every meal kind of thing. Some are some are always going to be better than others. Uh this one was highlighting continuing work that uh Frankfurt is doing on on the the the movement animations. Uh you'll notice that it was it was quite a bit smoother and some of that is because they're not playing in a live environment but basically it's the there EVA is not done. You know EBA is not done. The system they're still refining it. They're still they're still tweaking uh the movement and the slide and the and the the sort of decoupled fly. I don't know if that's what we're calling whatever they're calling it decoupled EVA. Uh interesting to find out what we are calling it, but it's just continued

  46. 00:37:47

development. We we've got some we've got some stuff down the line here still to show. But uh yep, sometimes it's going to be steak, sometimes it's going to be meatloaf. Some people like meatloaf better. Yeah. That's basically what the deal with that is. Ali started making Italian style meatloaf. It's just a big meatball. That's good. Oh my gosh, that sounds delicious. Uh, the NN 1977 a complaint thread about that later. Yeah. Yeah, there's mentioned food on the show. How many of you watch Bickleberry? I've never se I don't know what Bickleberry is. I've heard of Bickleberry. I think it's on Comedy Central. That sounds like a Comedy Central show. Watch it end up being a fake thing they made up to try to I'm pretty sure it's not. You know, Bickleberry is that Tosh Daniel Tosh cartoon. I've heard of it. It's real. He has a cartoon. Yeah, he's got a cartoon.

  47. 00:38:38

He's got a cartoon. Um, uh, Gabriel Re says, "Question. Gamescom hype?" We are pretty hyped. Yep. We are we're probably reverse hyped to some degree because it's it's looming now and there's this Oh, by the way, you have to fly 16 hours across the ocean and change planes in London and uh you'll be in a foreign country for three weeks. And so we It's a mix of terror and excitement. I call it tech excitement. Yeah, it was exciting like five months ago and now it's just I know it's coming up so quick. Yeah. Uh if you read if you read the weekly com link uh schedule we put up, I I talked a little bit about our Gamescom plans there this week. Uh we're having our first big show floor booth that we've ever done. Um

  48. 00:39:27

partnering with some great people to help us, you know, put that together. Mhm. Uh I think it'll look if if it comes together like like we're like we're envisioning it, it'll be very cool. I think it'll be something we'll look back on. It'll be a lot of fun. We're going to be on the G show floor all five days. I think the first day is only open to the press and then four days publicly. Yeah. And then four days publicly, but we'll be there all five of those days. And then uh we'll have announcements later on down the line. We'll be doing gatherings and meetups in the evenings and stuff. Uh in fact, yeah, we were just talking with Sandy about some of those. At least one of them you're definitely going to want to be at. Yes. So, you know, lots of opportunity to meet everybody instead of a single event where everybody's packed in like sardines. We'll have lots of opportunity to come and and and meet Chris. And we're going to unveil a ship in person at one of them. So, I'm really

  49. 00:40:14

excited about that. Well, I just heard about that. So, what should be Matt Sherman? Hey, Matt Sherman. Hey guys. How you doing? Doing great. Welcome to Reverse the Verse. Thanks. Uh for those of anybody who doesn't know, Matt Sherman is uh one of our technical designers here in the LA studio. Uh recently he's been doing he did work on the Drake Buccaneer. Yep. Uh you're the designer for the Drake Dragonfly in the original designer. It's now moved on to the UK. Yeah. So that's a fun one where it's a much more active collaboration between our two studios. So we did the design uh and the UK guys are doing the buildout on and they're doing amazing work so far. It's what brings you out of your feel like it may be about ejection seats. No, no, no. Actually, more about the Dragon Fly just because uh remember we got a whole segment we're filming. Oh, I I know. I know. I know. I'm not I'm not

  50. 00:41:02

going into all the details. Okay. But just, you know, it's going to be an awesome little ship. A little bit different, I think, than what a lot of people are expecting, but it's going to be awesome. Yeah. We asked them to start a contest. We're doing a contest on the forum. Everybody's going to do their I saw that. So, I'm really excited to see because Especially if if the requirement of No, it must be an MS Paint file. That I think was just the perfect thing. Um, as the designer, do we want to let Matt be one of the judges? Of course. Yeah, you should. Yeah, that would be great. That's how things work here. You see the process in motion. Professional. The process in motion. Uh, let's see. So, let's see if we have any more. Oh, yeah. Big thing. Jared did a bad I did a bad hit the button. Um, uh, Jeffrey Gorson has a question, uh, since we announced

  51. 00:41:53

the price here. Uh, I don't know if we're ready to have to talk about the answer, but he asked, "Why is the price of the Dragonfly higher than the P-52s?" Because they're different ships. Um, but it is essentially they're different ships. Um, there will be an opportunity for a bulk discount, but we're going to sell like a two pack if uh people want more than one Dragonfly. But, uh, I think it'll be more apparent when you see the utility of the thing and what it can do. And definitely one thing we're finding as we get closer to everything actually being in the game and making sense that the prices are much more regimented. Yes. Than some of the early ones. Yes. And the price is not necessarily always just the value of the thing. It's also the work that goes into creating it and stuff like that. So many factors. Yeah. Uh we we've we've talked in the past about doing segment. I'd like to. It's just so many just finding

  52. 00:42:41

the time with everything else. So, maybe maybe we'll do a segment at some point that that'll dive into some of the reasons behind that kind of stuff. Um, scarc I'm not even going to try. Starts with an S. Is the caterpillar sail Matt Sherman talked about on the last ship shape going to be a thing? Talked about a caterpillar sail. I talked about it. I think uh last last time I was here on RTV. We've mentioned it before of possibly bringing it back, but Yeah, that would definitely be uh outside of design. Stay stay tuned, we'll say to that. Oh, that's right. Yeah, stay tuned. Such a great uh John movie from the 90s. What? Stay tuned. Stay tuned. Yeah. Oh,

  53. 00:43:30

that was one where they had the remote control. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Pam Dober was that Pam Dober? Yeah. All right. V asked a question. What is the color of the carpet in the studio? The studio actually doesn't have carpet. That's part of why we have that wonderful echo that we love as much as you guys do. It It's a nice plush concrete. Yeah. There's some great carpet out by the office and stuff. Yes. And as you just saw, Tyler's like checkerboard carpet. Yeah. Oh, look at that carpet. Oh, yeah. That's the carpet that permeates your entire office. Fancy office carpet. Oh god, my camera's duct taped on and now I broke it. What have I done? Why is your camera duct taped on? Tom, when Thomas Hennessy when you Okay. When we when we flew

  54. 00:44:18

Thomas Hennessy to Austin to help me get set up, this was his uh professional setup. Oh, Thomas Hennessy. Throwing Thomas Hennessy under the bus for a duct tape setup. And and he he doesn't have a camera to defend himself. That's to be fair, it was amazing having him here. And the duct tape is high quality. A Tyler, you're so nice. Um, all right. Uh, Luckan asks, "Can we get any update on the Carricker 300 series?" Um, no, no update on them. Carrick's once we're done with the Caterpillar. I think we're still looking at the Carrick next, so stay tuned again. Uh, James Hobs says, "What happened to the special guest of Jared's dad featuring on our TV?" He was on our TV.

  55. 00:45:06

It was a month or two ago. Yeah, he was on. So, does your dad watch our TV? Yes. I was going to say I'm pretty sure he does. Yes. No, my my it it it it took almost 40 years for me to do anything that made my dad proud of me. And Star Citizen, when's he coming back? Um, if I'm lucky, I've just remembered he watches. Love you, Dad. You're You're my everything. so I I I've never seen any indication that my mother watches ATV or follows anything about Star Citizen. Occasionally she'll be like, I saw on Yahoo News that something happened with Star Citizen. What? That's exciting. And I was like, okay. Because I guess she read it's like her default browser. But

  56. 00:45:54

then like two weeks ago, I she randomly told me, hey, I I saw it was Sandy's birthday and it was Chris's birthday, too. It's really a shame that their birthdays are so close together cuz then they can't have separate celebration. Like, have you been secretly following really arcane details about and never mentioning it? So, if you're out there, mom, that's what you know what that's what moms do. That is like my mom's watching. I'm sure she'll like secretly like keep up with you. My mom watches all the like she's subscribed to the YouTube channel at this point. Watches everything. Hi, mom. She's only played through one game in her whole life, but she she'll just follow anything I've done. So, it's it's interesting. Yeah. The only thing my mom knows about Star Citizen is I don't call her as much anymore. So, I send my mom a

  57. 00:46:44

lot of our swag. She's got an origin uh mouse pad at home. Gotcha. Uh here's a question Matt you might have have some info on. Um Vigilance asks, "Will there be a beacon on the person when you eject so that friends can find you?" So that kind of stuff is a lot of things for basically like anything involving a rescue type mechanic. A lot of that stuff's still being sorted out. So there's definitely things that we want to explore to make sure that that feels good and stuff you like beacons, black boxes, distress calls. Uh it's just about getting all the specifics of it hashed out. So, in some form, yeah, we're going to have some kind of rescue assist for, you know, alerts, distress, all that. Uh, the exacts of how that's going to take shape is still work in

  58. 00:47:34

progress. Uh, Radical would like to know if he can come with us to the zoo. No. Um, they didn't even invite me. Do you want to fly here and go to the zoo with us tomorrow? Yes. Okay. Uh, Captain Cutter would like to know, will vehicles be storeable in cargo holds without them sliding around everywhere? Uh, it is definitely something that we're looking at. I think if uh you guys go back to some of the old concepts when we had the whole series sale last year, uh that was also very much one of the things that we we want to explore. Um, again, it's still in that something that we want to try and deliver on, but we're still determining what shape it'll take. But yeah, we want there to be somewhere where you can crate up a handful of ships. They wouldn't be something you

  59. 00:48:21

could immediately scramble, but then you can move it cleanly from point A to point B. Uh, Landscraper asks, "Any new info on any info on the new launcher?" Uh, you check the turbulent section of the monthly report that just came out a week ago. That's the latest info we have on the launcher. It's still being developed, but I think there might be one or two more details in the monthly report. And if not, well, you read the monthly report. It was worth it. Aaron Bridger would like to know, will Drake get its own fuel transport refueling platform? Not anytime soon, but who knows? Someday. Well, I mean, just from the design side, that would probably be something we might want to explore more

  60. 00:49:09

as as a different module for something like the Caterpillar. It's not something that's, you know, hard on the table right now for that, but it would be in that kind of like as a pod or something you saw into the caterpillar. Yeah. Because we we want that versatility to really come through on the caterpillar, but again, not a a sure thing, but probably where we would try and explore that. Uh, Dark Smith wants to know when Chris Roberts is coming back. Uh, this weekend. He'll be back uh in LA next week. And uh the seen asked a couple times about the tour of the LA office. Uh we'll put Chris on that. Probably not when he gets right off the plane, but we'll let him get We'll let him get settled as his time allows. Should we invite him with us? A jet lag hang jet lag tour and then a normal This is a

  61. 00:49:58

studio. It's I haven't been here in like Yeah, we'll spend half a day at the coffee area. Uh we got four more shots. Uh Weeborg 1978 asked question any information about Gamescom this year. U Weborg, as we discussed earlier, we're not doing the bespoke event like we've done in the years past. We're just going to be on the show floor uh all five booths. All five booths. All five days. On the show floor all five days. So you can come and visit us on the show show floor. And if you don't want to buy a ticket to Gamescom, we we will be doing impromptu gatherings. Yes. Some of them are going to be like bigger type things like the beer garden we did last time. Some of them will be like, "Hey, we're all going to dinner. Anybody who wants to can come hang out with us." Uh, so, right, all sorts of cool stuff will happen. So, uh, so, uh, it might be

  62. 00:50:47

might behoove you to to to check, uh, social media and stuff during that time since we won't have a lot of communication options when we're there. We'll put up a nice Gamescom guide to how to meet Disco in person, how to approach him. Don't look directly in the eye. Come from the left. Startle him. Don't ask him. You have the animal handling team nearby. He startles. He will bite. Uh, Fertim. Nope. Fertim. His first name is Fertim. Uh, says question. Glaive getting four size four fixed. Matt Sherman. What? Um, what are you starting crap again? Yeah. Well, okay. So, as sort of a a tangent, um, so last last

  63. 00:51:40

Friday when the second part of the Buccaneer Q&A went out, uh, uh, there are definitely going to be some changes with weapon hard points. One of that including the eventuality of some ships having some fixed twin link mounts. Um, so first off, that isn't going to be every single hardpoint can run all of those modifiers. Um, in that same post, like man, turrets and gimbals were also noted. Uh, but we've even said in the past because a man turret has to have a cutout into a ship, it's not going to be every single hardpoint can do this, but it's just one of the considerations that we have for mapping out the ships, mapping out their potency. Um, so in that case of would the Glaive have, you know, four fixed replacing its two size fives? Uh, probably not. more so just because right now the Vandal ships are

  64. 00:52:31

sort of in their own tuning set and tuning bracket uh where they're not as interchangeable with a lot of you know human parts. Um but I I do actually want to give sort of a a shout out to uh was it Solless Obscuri who in that same thread had a uh wonderful meme picture that he created of my forum logo. So thank you. That made me laugh last weekend. Oh yeah. Uh I think I sent it to you. Yes. Uh Chandeli Prime. I like that. Chandeli Prime. I don't know. Chandeli Prime. Hi Chandeli Prime. Uh I just like you can pronounce it. Yeah, that's what I was just going to say. Uh has anyone been tasked with looking at farming yet? Any hints or sneak peeks for farming

  65. 00:53:19

that might be in the pipeline? No. Sorry. Farm citizen. Farmville Extension Star. Um, uh, hey Alexis, I don't know if we have this, but I'll ask. Siphon would like to know if there's been an update on the ETA for when the Jump Point hard covers might ship. Um, yes, kind of. when I have a when we have a better a clearer window, I'll give a I'll give an update on the website, but um we it it was kind of getting tossed around with legal and

  66. 00:54:09

David Ladyman. So, we had some changes and it is now with our printer. So, hopefully in a few weeks time those will start shipping. But like I said, when I have a better time frame, I will give everybody an official update. All right. Uh Reek asked the question that we get quite often. How far out is org 2.0? Uh V responds to him. Or 2.0 is off the menu. It is most certainly not off the menu. Uh it's just part of a much larger roll out that affects our entire website. Yeah. So it'll it'll be a it'll be a a new way to a new set of forums, a new way to chat. Uh all kinds of cool stuff uh that that we we've we've mentioned we're calling Spectrum. So So uh no ETA on that name. What's the name of the New Time Warner company? The company that bought bought there. Yeah,

  67. 00:54:59

their merge. Yeah, I don't know. Well, Turbulent's hard at work on it. Uh we've we've seen the design. The design is really cool. Uh yeah, it's pretty incredible. It's We're no longer going to be beholden to, you know, XMPPP chat and uh vanilla forums. Um I'll I have a I can pull it out forum. I'll pull it out. I'll pull it out and show you. Uh very excited about it. It's uh it's it's it's or 2.0, but it's also it affects everything. So, very cool. Uh Long Tree has a question. Slaving turrets to pilot command. So, that is something that actually needs a bit more of the uh item 2.0 stuff that we've been working on to be implemented uh to bring back. Uh it is absolutely something that's in, you know, the

  68. 00:55:46

pipeline in consideration. Uh, just needs more tech to get set back up. Uh, cipher calm. No. Uh, are dogs tag are Wow, good job. That isn't even a complex word. Are dog tags still estimated to ship this month? Um, probably looking more like July. They're they're in production right now, though. It takes a couple weeks. We've got we had many orders this time. Those are one of the more intricate things to produce because they have They are. Yes. Every single one is personalized. It's like they spent forever like it's always like where are they? Oh, they're in polishing. Emolishing. Polishing. It's literal polishing. Steps. Yes. It's got that cool Squadron 42 logo on the back. Looks really cool. Yeah, they look nice.

  69. 00:56:35

Not that Star CL. No. Yeah, I feel like this. Yes, it it really did. It did. Yep. And we had some um some ones made up that are some of our squadron characters also. For handouts and such. I did ask him for TIFF. Remember, you don't have to ask more than once. Uh can you talk a little bit more about the new weapon size system, Matt? How universal it'll be? Uh double S3 for the Hornet, eight times S2 for the Saber. uh not all the specifics. So, it's more something that we're going to still be going through each ship. Um right now, the safest bets for what those twin link fix are going to be applicable for would be uh underslung canards on different

  70. 00:57:25

ships. So, ideally, uh yeah, the Hornet, the Mustang, Vanguard. Um not sure about the Avenger, the Gladius. It's still again going to be one of those. uh go through it, see what what fits, see what looks right, because also part of this is, you know, making sure that the visual looks right. Um, and part of why some of that new sizing happened because the hardpoint post we made last year was before we realized, oh, we have to redo some of the physical volumes on these weapons. And when we got those rebalanced, um yeah, size ones on that like the uh Hornet ball turret just look ridiculous like it it's toothpicks. Um so making sure that the the look and feel pulled up both in terms of the potency and the the art.

Gotcha. Uh Prometheus as asks about something we haven't talked about in a long time. Uh any updates on the map room for the hanger? That was one of the stretch scrolls. Was it a map room? I know they're going to tie it into the uh the web work they've done, but I not sure where it is right now. I remember some conversations a while back about working about getting the star map in the game and so it's all the same. So we don't so they don't have to duplicate work, have to make the whole thing in game and make the whole thing in the web. So, um maybe maybe we maybe we can ask Turbulent to include that in next month's monthly report. See if there's any update or if we do their 104 with them. No, we um Hey, Chewy. Uh so, what office prank went too far?

  72. 00:59:02

Do we really do a lot of office pranks? I can't I can't think of I can't think of an office prank. Where you put pictures of you on my desktop? Yes. That was probably a prank for our service. We haven't done office. Yeah, we don't we don't really do office pranks. Yeah, we don't really do office. There was one, but we can't talk about that. And and for the for the the sake of those who there was actually one. Yeah, that was a long time ago. I have a really good one. Sure. You know, uh, I promise you one star citizenship. Hey, Tyler's talking. I'm not in I'm not in Jared's or Jared. I'm not in Ben's ear, am I? No, that's right. You tell your

  73. 00:59:49

story because you started first and then he'll do his promise. Uh, we we we hired Bryce in QA and uh before he moved here from Iowa, um I basically spent two hours convincing him that Texas had a massive scorpion infestation and that you had to abide by the scorp rules. And so you like didn't sleep with pillowcases or sheets. Uh you had to check your shoes multiple times per day. And uh I actually photoshopped a picture of me in my room um with with a scorpion on the wall and and it Yeah, he he almost didn't move here. Scorp. I like that. All right. It was really good. People say I haze. That's way worse than I It is. See, I'm a good person. He said trying to convince others. All right. So what did you

  74. 01:00:36

promise, Ben? Oh, I was going to promise that once Star citizenships, I will tell people that story. Okay. Once the statute of limitations is run out and Ben can't be prosecuted in the state of California, we'll share that story. All right, with that, that ends our question and answer period. Uh, thanks so much for the questions in the RSI chat, guys. We're moving on to looking ahead. We talk a little bit about what's coming up in the next week. Uh, uh, 2.4 continues its work on the PTU. Yep. And we're hoping to get it live very soon. and it's tending towards that way. We can't absolutely promise it, but we're doing our best. Um, Monday we'll have uh 10 for the developers uh with um forest forestry and forest. Yeah, I remember forest and sherry. Uh so get get it from

  75. 01:01:24

the art and the lore side. So that's cool. That's right. Sherry was asking me about a question she had. All right, now I remember. Uh so I don't know what that sound was. Uh 10 for the developers with Forest and Sherry on on Monday. Uh Bug Smashers, the return of Bug Smashers on Wednesday. Um Mark Gabri's excited to get back to to showing you how he does what he does. And then on Thursday's ATV, uh part two of the Jim Martin interview where we actually talk about Star Citizen stuff, he'll take us through all the ships he he worked on, which is the Scythe, the Cutless, the Caterpillar, the Endeavor. Was he good? Yeah, it was the Endeavor, uh, the Buccaneer, the Hole, the Hole series, and there's one more. I can't remember. We had trouble remembering it during the

  76. 01:02:12

interview when it came up. So, Matt, the Mets contributed a whole lot to Star Citizen, so tune in to that next week. Did you get the Herald in there? Oh, the Herald. The Herald. The Herald. The Herald was the one we remembered halfway through, too. In the Herald. And then uh and then um and then uh the second segment we're filming today, so I don't want to talk about it because just in case it doesn't happen, but but uh cool segment for you to show off. All the new details for uh post will go up in a couple minutes about our our draw the

  77. 01:02:59

dragonfly contest. I'm really excited about that. Yeah. Yeah. No Photoshop. MS Paint. Yes. We're got to be crappy or handdrawn. Handdrawn scanned. I'd say MS Paint Mouse only. The handdrawn. Not not no Waycoms, no tablets, no fancy. Although I don't know how we're going to be able to enforce that, but Oh, we can't. People are really good with the ice or you're on your to travel to each of your homes to make sure but not be very disappointed in you if not it'll be a deep personal disappointment. I want to see hand drawn ones people can handraw uh coming up towards the end of the month is a bit ahead. Uh we'll have our subscriber edition RTV. We're hoping to have the uh the uh the live ops team from Austin uh talk about, you know,

  78. 01:03:47

network performance and their continuing work at at at making Star Citizen perform better. And uh yeah, so that's looking ahead. I think we're going to try to go to zoo tomorrow. Yeah. Try to go to the LA Zoo. You guys stay safe. Stay safe. Oh, the uh the Bar Citizen group in Austin, uh they chose June 18th for their um their date. Oh, June 18th for the Austin Bar Citizen group.
