    James P and with me today is Paul Randell Paul how you doing man hi nice to meet you it's good to have you on to finally meet you like everyone you've been this Enigma people need to know who you are so how did you get started with the project um I got started with the project basically when Chris was working on the original prototype back in 2012 wow um and at that time I was at krych and I would um help him with this prototype so while I was at krych I would um also work with our different lienes and their projects and Chris was one of them so so I would get in contact with him and he had question about the engine and I would help him and that's how I kind of like got familiar with the project and um I think at at at the first time I really saw like he he sent

    me a demo build MH and I had to fix something on it and I looked at the bangal carrier like in in in the space level and then and at that moment when I saw this like Banger carrier sitting there and I was like that game is like awesome I want to I want to be part of it so and then then I like appli it right away nice and you just moved did you originally come to Austin or did you come here first I um came to La directly so nice you went the project since the beginning yes what is it about besides the Bengal what is it about this project that like made you want to work on it so bad um so I'm I'm a huge sci-fi fan so working on the Sci-Fi project is is just awesome and then um the whole like space simulation like back in the days I was a

    big wien Commander player like I think when I was at school one of the first games I I actually bought for my PC was like win Commander 3 mhm and um yeah being like space Sim games Sci-Fi games that's just my genre I I love it and that's why nice I want to be part of this project so you said you came over from krych what were you working on over there besides third party um so at the time when I started at krych I would um work in the engine team um especially with licensing support um giving training at different um Studios which work with a cry engine um I would then um eventually go to rice and work on the rice project for a year and that's like when like almost to the end

    to the project I would apply for a job at cloudy appearing and move over yeah we recently had Todd papy on here he talked about working on Rise as well or too I believe when it was when he was there yeah I mean he's kind of like after my turn so oh cool so how long you been in the industry total um I think like 2011 okay so not too long no I mean krych was my first gig oh really so nice what made what interest you about krych was it just the engine um first of all in Germany there are like not so many big game deaths yeah so trch is um actually the the biggest the biggest one um also it was pretty close to where I live like um 30 minutes Drive nice and
