that uh take some questions and answers from the community and then talk a little bit about what's in Star citizens immediate future so beginning of every show we do our weekend review we always start off with Ben it's always a mistake but we keep doing it so Ben what'd you do this week um this was a busy week but it was all really boring stuff it's you know the longer you get into the job and the higher you climb in the company the more boring the things you do are um so it was stuff like arranging travel for Tom to go to Austin this week and uh budgeting for set purchases for the uh next six months and uh so no no exciting ship kickoffs or anything like that a lot of meetings and plannings uh I had a meeting this morning with UK about uh implementing insurance and uh not too

distant patch so they're they're turning that from Chris's original design into a thing that's in the game wait wait you mean Insurance might actually be a component of Star Citizen Yes actually getting that in there um and you know we're looking at a lot of edge cases like what if you lose all your ships and uh so so I will be removing everybody's ability to post to the forums like 5 minutes before that happens now that that's exciting I actually I'm I'm curious I want to see how that's all going to work yeah it was it was interesting seeing you know all of our trying to figure out stuff like uh you know designers looking at how you how you punish people for insurance fraud and how the game will actually track that uh it's it's cool seeing these ideas we had two or three years ago turn real and I imagine we will have a very real and dedicated segment to insurance and Star Citizen uh when the

time is appropriate right well what else this weekend uh you you you said some set purchases uh we we just got we finally got our third and final uh ATV set decorated this week third ATV we're going to have a separate ATV set it's starting next week it's the was on Instagram uh Daren spoiled it for everybody that's what Daren me you know we we have the uh it's wrapped to look like Tera so it's going to it's going to be hopefully a cool setting that shows off Sandy and my natural handsomeness and uh natural uh we also want to we want a new desk at some point so it's coming down the line uh and uh we're looking at upgrading our cameras in the not too distant future good stuff in general yes it's it's it's uh it's it's it's one of those things that's it's it's important to upgrade and and keep technology you

she when she when she screw people with cards uh so Uno makes you bad people and we've got it yes we got uh so what else did we do this week um uh the the prospect first prospector Q&A went up yes uh and uh special shout out to uh our other community manager some would say our prettier Community manager uh nobody would say that not even his mom Tyler rickin for putting that together um of course the designers in the UK for actually answering the questions but uh I think that was Tyler's first uh style heat post so good job Tyler you're going to learn our stupid backend system yes he aced himself very well I gave him only minimal instructions and I said I said figure the rest out and he fig he had one question and and I gave it to him and and to to his to his credit the

patches yeah no that's pretty much it working on uh getting the stuff for uh like Gamescom you know hand out giveaways for events and stuff a lot of that stuff this week so we're in the final throw of getting all of that stuff work we got chairs for the lobby finally yes we we finally started to get furniture in the office so we've had Furniture we had some furniture we had the old the old beat up Furniture like furniture from Chris Rober production company from 2009 yes we've had recycled Furniture it only took us nearly four years but we finally got bespoke Furniture what is bespoke me I say a lot I don't know me specific to that customer made thing yeah and it actually isn't bespoke I used the word wrong but that's what but we got furniture for ourselves that is

what wasn't repurposed from some other Venture and one thing you might also notice looking around the fan cave is that there's more stuff we unpacked uh boxes that Sandy had in her garage with various things people had sent and we uh a lot of it was the stuff that Chris used to have in his office uh during the move uh he took that stuff home to protect it so that the movers didn't move it and have a chance of breaking it so so so a lot of that stuff stuff that was in Chris's office uh in the old office is now here uh we we we have we have his flag there and a lot of the patches uh that fans sent the Guinness book The the Guinness Records World Records up there a lot of the awards that that the folks have sent Chris uh the custom Swiss army knife over there it's cool uh we'll do another tour is that a new picture of bad news Bar's

so so Justin save the segment what did you do this actually um I started some work on the documentary the making of Star Citizen which is exciting um the show and tell you started working on that that's our internal Show and Tell we uh we put out of shows all the time for everybody in the outside world we also put together an internal show once a month that's everything different teams are working on kind of to get People Pumped Up and excited and know what hey look there's my eye going I have no idea use autofocus so that's what he does to focus yes and for everybody wondering about the show ints why don't they show us that that is the content of the ATV fast forward yes so you are seeing the content of the show in tells some of it some not so much squatter and stuff yeah

happen all right so that was our weekend review we'll move right along to where's my stuff where's my stuff is a section where I ask Ben hey Ben where's my stuff uh it's like one floor above my stuff uh we'll start right off with uh with everybody's most pressing question uh 2 .4 2.4 it's April 29th uh yes it is April 29th 2.4 is not actually did they go out for the evocati uh PTU yet see the reason for this segment was so I could ask you that well see I don't know we we're very close to uh the first limited PTU test um if it has not already happened it will be very soon that's a heck of an NDA we don't even know um yeah that's all being run by

uh will it in Austin Sport staff so yeah I I know they got their patch notes I don't know if the actual patch it yet um but no 24 is coming along it's it's a big big big deal the biggest jump since uh since the jump to 20 we're probably almost certainly not going to hit live in April but uh it will be worth a little bit of a wait and we'll keep you guys updated as as we start getting you know lists of exactly what the blockers and the bugs are and when we talk about the biggest patch a lot of that is under the hood stuff you know there's a lot of work being done to make persistence a thing to move everything up into our new database it's not it's flashy as two point that's massively huge but there's also a lot of user end content I mean the game changes very much with the idea

watches over and over again like it's called American president I don't have things that I watch over and over again however I will watch Wing Commander well that got definitely peeed and so I decided when the game I bought a a ship I bought a Aurora and of course at that time you know there was lots of glitches uh you would expect something like that especially if you know the concept of the game but the minute I got in that ship just getting into the ship I didn't fly it for at least 15 minutes because I'm looking at everything I'm looking at every crack

crevice cranny I'm a I'm very much a person of detail and I looked at this thing and I said if this is the beginning of what these people are doing then the ending has got to be phenomenal uh same thing when I walked into the hanger uh I was talking to his brother the other night who was now uh a citizen and it was the first time he got into the hangar and I text him I said what are you doing I'm walking around the hanger so I go down and I eat come back I texted him again I said what are you doing he says I'm still walking

around the hanger and I remember that feeling of walking around just just analyzing soaking in everything there was to soak in and it's it's kind of like looking at at at Art uh for those of you that are you know connoisseurs of great art or music or something like that when you see something that is great you want to soak it in you want to enjoy it and uh that's basically how I got got started with Star Citizen because I saw I saw something in Star Citizen that I've never seen in any other game I saw becoming a way to become part of

it and uh so now I'm I'm part of it Lock Stock and Barrel you know and I talked to a few people every once in a while and and uh every once in a while you know I get this m h how old are you and I'm going well the better the under portion of 70 years old and they're going you like this game I said I love it well why do you play it I said why do people go to Disneyland you know you know uh it's you go through life and and you Star Citizen gives me personally a place to uh I'm going to hit him in a

flyable yet but I go into the hanger and I just spend time just looking around I like I love the colors I love the way the well it's obvious I like the ship and then I saw a concept and it's not out yet but it's it's it's hanger ready Redeemer and the corporation that I have started just recently because after so many time I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do with this Star Citizen concept and uh it's mostly kind of like protecting the innocent I'll leave it at that and I saw this Redeemer I looked at the concept I read about it and and I can see you know Space Marines getting

inside you taking you know uh Black Ops open UPS operations taking them into hot lzs the the concept is just too numerous to to to mention here so I bought a couple of uh redeemers and I'm continuing toy them yeah already um yeah did you have a couple cutlasses before that I still I have the the cutlasses I I bought black I had Reds because I thought I was going to be human and human you know very humanity and and and be a hospital type person I thought I was going to be human too yeah
