   so I actually had not heard of star citizen before I started looking at this position I'm one of those horrific monsters who hadn't played any of chryses previous games who wasn't aware of the crowdfunding thing but I got sucked in so quickly I'm like this is a project that I want to be a part of this is Los Angeles so it's tough and fun at the same time you can't beat the weather you cannot beat the beach there is so much to do what the do we do around here you knows I ask myself that same question every day here in LA we had the vision for this new type of game this is much more central place to be in terms of the engineering and the actual design and the content creation

   everything from solar systems down to potential how do we adjust to see that's the kind of project it is since chris roberts is based in the studio you get to work with the creator and the visionary directly we literally can walk three meters down to his office and ask him a few questions and we'll get the work done and and you really feel a sense of camaraderie I heard Chris talk about his passion and his dream and he wants to make this dad can I say badass I think I can say yeah badass game [Music] people come here for the challenge itself to be able to say hey I contributed to that you know I was able to help build that code or you know create those awesome characters that are based on award-winning actors people

   like Mark Hamill and Gary Oldman have read things I've written I still can't get over her when we look at our team and we look at we want to join our team and we want to look at who would add value to the games that we're working on it's really important that they have that sense of ownership and pride an excitement by the universe that's being built so even though as we get bigger and we get more people it's really important that you feel like you're a really important piece of that larger pie like it we can't do this without you it's every single piece of that makes star citizen what it is and makes cloud Imperium games what it is you
