   [Music] I'm John ersin and I'm the studio director of the Austin Studio I was working at portalarium with Richard garot and Chris Roberts had this crazy idea for a game before his announcement so I actually heard about the game before it was announced to the public was around when the original announcement was made at GDC Chris and his team kind of camped out at the portalarium offices here in downtown Austin uh while they were putting together their pitch and dealing with some of the aftermath of the uh original launch and um I know they were uh pretty pretty busy at that time so I was just

   kind of around the periphery at that moment I'm really looking forward to the FPS gaml uh um although I'm not a fantastic FPS player by modern standards I do really enjoy that kind of gameplay and I'm looking forward to some of the mechanics that we have planned and like most people I'm also really excited about the persistent Universe because my background is very much in uh MMO gaming and persistent Universe gaming so I'm excited to play that and check it out tacos of any type breakfast tacos tacos brisket tacos lunch tacos this is Austin so Austin is Taco Town I like jazz and blues a lot so I'd

   probably say John col train or Miles Davis if I had to pick a movie that I constantly go back to it's probably Fight Club in the most recent time uh my favorite video game has been Far Cry 3 uh I would base that on the fact that that is a game that I have played through from beginning to end multiple times on every difficulty level earned every achievement did done every single thing in the game that I can do so I must like it quite a bit when I'm not working I really love to fly fish and I really love to paddle canoes um it's kind of an obscure sport but I'm really into ultramarathon canoe

   racing so I go and I do these Canoe Races that are 200 300 400 miles long and you go without sleep and you just race straight through so um if sometimes if sometime if you want to have a real weird conversation about canoeing and sleep deprivation I'm your man H I think it's the M50 there's a lot of cool ships but the M50 is just so sleek and so pretty cool looking there in your hanger and it's fun to fly I'm not particularly very good at it but it's pretty fun I think it's fantastic the way that people are so passionate about this game so my message is to just um keep sharing that passion we love
